I am creating this convention to leave a positive permanent mark on the Lake Stevens community. Board games, TTRPGs, TCGs, and other actives like them help encourage creative, math, social, and other skills. They are great ways to make friends, or maybe frienemies ๐ Also playing games with strangers can give you just a little insight on how others see the world.
I am more than willing to pay for the entire convention out of my pocket, before the grant that the city of Lake Steven offered, the total cost was just a little bit more than 6k, something I can def cover in the year that i started preparing.
But talking to some of the wonderful members of the community, i was quickly informed some of you would like to fiscally contribute. So I have created the gofundme, you can click on the title above or there should be a link at the bottom of the website.
However, I want to be fully transparent with everything about where the funds are currently allocated to, as well as what has been already paid for.
Sections are intended to be listed by what is the most important.
The important part:
