Once upon a time there was a little chibi white mage who discovered a free convention where people played 1-shots of various TTrpgs over 4 days and it was so much fun!
But this tiny con is located at someone’s house, and is private
So the chibi white mage decided to save all their pennies and host their own multi day free convention where anybody could just walk in and sit at a table and play.
The stuffed the saddle bags of the Maelstrom armor full of gil on their chocobo and headed off to talk to the big wigs who run the city asking if they could rent out The Mill for the whole weekend.
Signing forms, getting a grant, converting gil to actual American dollars, the con was paid off and ready to go! The chibi white mage just needed to get the word out there and maybe find vendors who would want to barter their wares and let the beings who showed up know all about them.
Some of the beings expressed interest in helping fund the con, and a lot of being expressed interest in going. The city made it pretty clear that only so many people were allowed inside the building at any given moment, so if even half the beings who expressed interest showed up even at once, the con would be breaking the rules for being to big
However, there is more places to rent, outside is available! just, more pennies than the chibi was expecting to pay, and maybe the public would be willing to help.
