Patreon is finally up! This is how I plan to be able to fund PAID monthly events and 4 FREE quarterly events, like AKIBA.

Why do this?

I am creating this convention to leave a positive permanent mark on the Lake Stevens community. Board games, TTRPGs, TCGs, and other actives like them help encourage creative, math, social, and other skills. They are great ways to make friends, or maybe frienemies 😀 Also playing games with strangers can give you just a little insight on how others see the world.

I have already paid for the entire convention out of my pocket, before the grant that the city of Lake Steven offered, the total cost was just a little bit more than 6k. Lake Stevens offered me the grant, and I have paid for all of the indoor & outdoor spaces as well as the tables and some other stuff.

But talking to some of the wonderful members of the community, i was quickly informed some of you would like to fiscally contribute. So I have created the gofundme you can click on the title above or there should be a link at the bottom of the website for the gofundme. t
However, I want to be fully transparent with everything about where the funds are currently allocated to, as well as what has been already paid for.

The price break down of this page will be moving to other pages where I break down where every gil spent on the first event and will go when Patreon starts earning money.

Wait, no Kickstarter?

No, thanks to things like “but you don’t exist online” according to KS as well as i start having a major anxiety attack when I think about trying to raise funds, I have decided to not do this *this year*

I hope to do a small store on the site for month of sept, but we will see how well that works.
